The Blog IS NOT Moving....

Dear Family and Friends,

Are you confused yet? I am! In my own defense I told you that I am clueless about computer related stuff. I have no idea about gigabytes or whatever the picture space is called. I finally got Greg to take a peek and he assured me that it would only cost $5 for a years worth of pictures. LOL. Oh my, I was thinking that I needed more gigabytes and that it was gonna be $200+. Oy, oy, oy! I suppose that we can squeeze $5 out of the budget. ;) Soooooo, please, please disregard my last post. And, disregard my new blog link. I am going to close it right now. It does not exist. Just this one. I am confusing myself so I am going to end this post. :)

I will be uploading pictures from Emma's FIFTH Gotcha Day which was yesterday. She had a GREAT day!

Thanks for your patience!

Help-Technical Dificulties!!!!

Apparently I am "out of space" with my picture storage and I can't upload any more pictures to my blog for free....HUH?! I am 100% 101% blog challenged. SERIOUSLY, I do not have a clue. If you are a fellow "Blogger" and you understand....PLEASE explain it to me. ACKKK! If I have to purchase additional storage that would stink. Is there a way to save it all or something to gain space?

Outside~Part Four.

Obviously the previous sidewalk art was by Miss. Emma-no caption was necessary! ;)
This lovely picture was drawn by my baby Sophie.
Appartently, it is ME. :)
They both drew several pictures that afternoon....but, I am having too many problems uploading to share them all.

Outside~Part Three.

Outside~Part Two.

Outside~Part One

Blogger is not being cooperative.
It took me over an HOUR to upload these three pictures.
That's crazy!!!
SO, I will be uploading pictures of the girls outside in a series of posts.
We have had a taste of spring weather here and we are LOVING those days!
:)

Cuddle Bugs

More so than ever I am finding these two in this position.
SO CUTE!!!

Food Du Jour

~Homemade heart shaped pizzas~

!Homemade chicken nuggets with marinara sauce & mashed potatoes~

The pizza and mashed potatoes were approved by the critics. :)
The nuggets got four thumbs down. :/
Oh well, whatever. :)

The Pony Tail

Look at who's hair is FINALLY long enough for a pony tail!
And, make no mistake....she IS as sassy as she looks!!! :-O

Llama...Llama....

Have you ever read the Llama books?
It is really a great series, and we own three of the books in our library at home. Emma L*O*V*E*S Llamas!!! If you have not read the Valentine post go back to it before you read further). ;-)
In true Emma fashion she does NOT do anything until SHE is ready to.
PERIOD.
And, that is fine with us because she keeps us in suspense with what she is capable of.
;-)
The summer after Emma turned 5 years old she slowly began to draw pictures and write her letters.
So, mind you she has NOT been creating her works of art for very long. (She will turn 7 this May).
As I said, Emma obsesses over LOVES Llamas. One afternoon I gave both Emma and Sophie empty albums to turn into their own books. Uh-do you want to guess what Emma's book is about?!
:-P

~By Sophie~

Hmmmm-alright, I can see that I uploaded this picture sideways. I will be more careful next time. ANYWAY....
Is this the CUTEST valentine that you have ever seen or what?!
Sophie drew a picture of herself and Emma holding hands. :) I believe that Greg and I...plus a mysterious 3rd person are off to the side.
It is just adorable. I love my little Sophie!!!

The Valentine's Celebration has Begun!

The Valentines Day hoopla began here yesterday. The girls & I got down to work in the afternoon: them finishing Valentines cards (all by themselves-yeah!!) and ME making homemade pizzas for Emma's class party and baking cookies for teachers gifts and the Grandparents. (Yes that was a run on sentence, I know-but I have A LOT to say). ;) Emma's class party this morning was SO cute and a lot of fun. My Emma did REALLY well with the organized chaos! And, Sophie was thrilled to eat some pizza and watch everybody. When I asked Emma what theme she wanted on her Valentine Mail Box she informed me in no uncertain terms~LLAMAS. So, Llamas it was. She made a LOT of her box by herself. She is getting very artistic and crafty. Of course my little peanut Sophie was glaring at me as I assisted Emma with her box....so, I promised her that we'd make one for her today. Which we did. :) With out further adue, enjoy the pictures...........

Bubble Wrap

Emma and Sophie were awake a bit later than usual last night. (They are normally in bed between 6:30~7:30 P.M...). The doorbell rang at 7:35 PM. Lo and behold my NEW BREAD MAKER was delivered! (Do I have a wonderful husband or what???!!!). Being Food Network fans the ladies were delighted with the delivery. Emma asked "Is it like the Barefoot Contessa's"?
;-)
BUT, even more exciting than the appliance was the BUBBLE WRAP.
Emma has never really been that excited about bubble wrap. AND, Sophie did not even really realize what bubble wrap is capable of.
The above statement can now be retracted.
Emma ripped the bubble wrap out of the box. And, never one to be left behind...Sophie discovered the joys of bubble wrap as well.
Oh dear, it seriously sounded like the Fourth of July in our living room!!! They squeezed it with their little fingers. They jumped on it. They crawled on it. They even rolled over it. They shreeked in delight and giggled until they lost their breath.
Greg and I were laughing too...it really WAS funny!!!
And, when the last bubble was popped about 20 minutes later they went off to bed.

Zzzzzzzz

Lately Emma and Sophie have been requesting to fall asleep together. Well, let me re-phrase that...Emma insists that her beloved sister lay in her bed with her. And, Sophie reluctantly agrees as~ long as I confirm that I will put her in her own bed after they are both asleep. ;-)

I love how Sophie's foot is touching Emma.
Oh! How I adore these babies big girls!
While they were all snuggled in...THIS is what was going on outide. UGH. This picture was taken *after* I had shoveled.

"The Barefoot Baobays"

EMMA & SOPHIE LOVE TO WATCH THE BAREFOOT CONTESSA. FOR WHATEVER REASON THEY ARE QUITE TAKEN WITH HER AND WILL SIT MESMERIZED WATCHING HER COOKING SHOW. THEY WANT TO KNOW WHERE SHE LIVES AND IF WE CAN GO VISIT HER. THEY "PLAY" BAREFOOT CONTESSA AT THEIR DORA STOVE AND WHIP UP SOME YUMMY PLASTIC FOOD COMBINATIONS.
TODAY THEY MADE THEIR OWN PIZZAS AND PRETENDED THAT THEY WERE INA GARTEN! EMMA KEPT SAYING "THIS LOOKS JUST DELICIOUS"! AND, SOPHIE WOULD ADD "IT'S PERFECT"!!

I ACCIDENTALLY UPLOADED THE PICTURES BACKWARDS. SO, IF YOU WANT TO SEE THEM IN ORDER PLEASE SCROLL FROM THE BOTTOM UP! ;)
