Emma's Graduation

Well, it's official. My little girl has graduated from preschool! :) I am excited to watch this new chapter of Emma's life unfold...and I am sad to say goodbye to the last of her preschool years. All of her teachers & paras are very special to our family. They have been SO good to Emma and have really helped her to blossom. She is getting to be a BIG girl.

Sophie waiting in the hall for the Graduation Festivities to begin!

These next pictures are DARK. Yes, my flash was ON. My freakin' camera is just getting OLD. This is Emma leading her classmates up to the stage! (Emma DOES like to be the boss)! ;)

I caught a shot of Emma walking across the stage to accept her certificate:
And, I caught her after she received it. My camera froze and I missed the getting the picture of her actually accepting it!
So, Emma was not liking all of the camera flashes! ;) I think that she was ready to get off of the stage.

She decided to "check out here"...enough was enough already.... ;)
Big smiles after the big ceremony!
And, dancing...

Getting ready to eat a snack at school.

We CELEBRATED with pizza for dinner! :)

Emma's official certificate. :)
I brought Emma a balloon and watch when I picked her up this morning. ;)

SIX YEARS OLD!

My "baby" Emma turned SIX on May 10th! I am having a difficult time wrapping my head around the fact that she is getting so big....this is all just a little bit too fast for me! :( *Sigh*. The following pictures are out of sequence-I was uploading so many that I got mixed up. (It's late)! :)

Emma started the special day by opening cards & presents at 6:30 am! :) Don't ask me WHY but Emma wanted an OWL! I could not believe that I actually FOUND one!

Baking her Minnie Mouse cake for school the day before. She insisted that Minnie's dress be GREEN and wanted the cake to be chocolate. ;)

Back to Emma's birthday on May 10th-Emma & Sophie had a LOT of FUN celebrating all day long..........

As you can see EVERYBODY wore festive party hats...

Sweet Sophie serenaded Emma with "HAPPY BIRTHDAY"......

The celebration continued strong into the evening when Daddy got home from work. We ate dinner (home made pizza) together and the girls finished off some more cake.....

I actually took this picture of Emma because she had a giant bruise between her eyes-she and Sophie collided. (Running in the house). The bruise did not show up that well for the camera, but I thought that Emma looked especially beautiful and happy. :) If only her birth parents could see her now, they'd be so proud of her.
Last Saturday we celebrated Emma's birthday AGAIN with good friends. :) Emma received wonderful presents and she was so pleased to see her special friends. (SO was Sophie)! Greg and I enjoyed some adult time as the 4 girls played. :) I really need photography lessons since I didn't capture any "good" shots....I hit up my friend Missy for the pictures that SHE took. :) SO, when she sends them to me I will post them-she captured some great ones of the girls!
Yes, it is ANOTHER Minnie Mouse cake....LOL....

Are you picking up on the theme here? ;)

I just love seeing FOUR little Chinese girls together!!! :D They are all so beautiful!
(L to R): Mandy Rose W., Emma E., Emma and Sophie!
