$1.00 can buy A LOT of FUN for two little girls. However, be advised that the Mommy has to create the glasses, necklaces, & flowers. The girls made a few attempts but seemed more content to watch me go to work. :)

I often refer to Emma and Sophie as my two little dollies....because they just are! :) I am lucky that both of my girls like to wear dresses and have their hair styled. They are so much FUN!

I know that it's been quite awhile since I have posted...

I will just say that it's been BUSY here and leave it at that. :)

XIE XIE LAO LAO!!!

My girlies are a little bit "grouchy" some mornings. This morning Emma explained to me that if she went back to bed she would be "better in a few minutes". :-) You can SEE by the look on her face that she was tired. Sophie cried when Greg woke her up this morning, but was happy post breakfast when this picture was taken! ;-)

XIE XIE (Thank you) Lao Lao (Grandma)!!! Emma and Sophie were quite pleased to learn that a box had arrived in the mail for them today! Emma yelled "I'm so excited"! And, Sophie was all smiles.

Emma brought home an Easter treat sack from preschool today. She had decorated the bag by HERSELF & I just LOVED the bunny that she drew. She wrote her name on the other side, too. This would NOT have happened last year. Emma amazes me and humbles me with what she has accomplished over the past 4 years. What my daughter endured her first 21 month of life are things that NOBODY should ever go through. NOT EVER. And, my little Sophie is a true firecracker who proves that no matter what situation you are put into beyond your control you CAN flourish. In one year she has learned English, her alphabet (upper and lower case), & many of her colors and shapes.
